Community Inclusion Worker at PCCR

Empower individuals as a Community Inclusion Worker with Pacific Coast Community Resources. Support personal, social, and vocational goals while fostering independence in a rewarding work environment.

In this role, you’ll assist individuals to engage with their community effectively. You will coordinate social and vocational activities and advocate for their rights and choices. Your strong interpersonal skills will ensure a successful relationship with the individuals, their families, and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for individual's rights and personal choices

• Interact and build relationships with supported individuals

• Facilitate participation in community activities

• Document daily activities and personal health information

• Apply behaviour management principles effectively

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social services

• Valid BC Class 4 or 5 Driver’s License

• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certificates

• Experience with challenging behaviours and mental health
