Shape your future at Vancouver Coastal Health as a Social Worker Adult Protection Clinical Lead in Richmond, BC. This key position focuses on education, compliance, and complex care for vulnerable adults.
In this role, you will act as the adult protection lead within the Allied Health team, providing consultation and mentorship to staff while ensuring adherence to the Adult Guardianship Act. Your expertise will drive the development of clear policies and integrated support networks for those impacted by adult neglect and abuse, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and educate staff on adult protection strategies
• Lead compliance initiatives regarding the Adult Guardianship Act
• Conduct psychosocial assessments related to neglect
• Create decision support tools and improve practices
• Facilitate collaborations within multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• At least five years of experience in social work
• Current registration with BC College of Social Workers
• Qualified Health Care Provider status
• Possession of a BC Driver’s License
