As a Community Inclusion Worker, your role is pivotal in the lives of individuals needing support to achieve their personal goals. You will encourage active participation, ensuring their choices and rights are respected, while creating trusting relationships. Your expertise in behaviour management will guide your approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respect and advocate for individual rights and choices
• Foster social involvement and community integration
• Implement and facilitate activities based on personal goals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of support services
• Utilize behaviour management strategies effectively
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and Community Support Worker Diploma
• At least 2 years in community social services
• Current Food Safe and First Aid/CPR certifications
• Valid Driver’s License (BC Class 4 preferred)
• Experience managing challenging behaviours and mental health
