This permanent, full-time role focuses on providing vital support to adults with developmental disabilities. Community Support Workers (CSWs) will develop personal goal plans and facilitate engaging activities that enhance social, emotional, and daily living skills. A collaborative, inclusive program environment awaits you at DDA, fostering growth and genuine connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming and inclusive program atmosphere
• Support participants with daily living activities
• Implement and monitor individualized goal plans
• Lead person-centered programs for diverse abilities
• Conduct on-site and community-based activities
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Social Services or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities
• Proven ability to facilitate client-centered programs
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and good driving record
• Competency in English communication skills
