In your role as a Community Inclusion Worker, you will collaborate with individuals to develop personalized service plans that reflect their goals and preferences. Your ability to interact compassionately will drive positive outcomes in their social, vocational, and volunteer opportunities in the community. Advocate for their rights while employing behaviour management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for and respect individual choices
• Engage effectively with supported individuals
• Promote participation in community-based activities
• Develop and document Individual Service Plans
• Record daily activities and personal health information
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community services
• Valid BC Class 4 or 5 Driver’s License
• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Experience with behaviour challenges and mental health
