We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Co‑op Product Designer ‑ Software. This position reports to Software Leader and will work in Vancouver, B.C.

Please note that this position is open to current students enrolled in a Canadian accredited university and co‑op program.

Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion‑based products.

As Co‑op Product Designer ‑ Software on the Vancouver team, you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks supporting administrative, engineering, and technical staff throughout the facility.

General Responsibilities

Embedded software and utility software design and programming

Develop and execute software unit testing

Perform hardware/software integration testing

Proof of concept projects on various technologies such as motor control, IoT, and machine learning

Perform system level testing in electronic systems with multiple controllers, steering devices, actuators, displays, and CAN bus networks

Support development and execution of functional test plans
