Wenco is seeking a Senior Software Developer to focus on hands-on modernization of a mission-critical Fleet Management System. You'll leverage over 5 years of experience in complex systems, particularly with C++, to shape the architecture and define service boundaries. This hybrid or remote role offers an opportunity to design new software and make critical architectural decisions impacting mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the existing C++ codebase for safe extraction

• Design architecture, data models, and APIs for new services

• Write production code using Kubernetes, Python, and React

• Manage build, release, and deployment processes

• Implement observability through logs and metrics

Requirements:

• 5+ years in production environments with high-uptime systems

• Strong background in C++ and complex codebases

• Proficiency in two or more core programming languages
