Embedded Firmware Development Expert

Lead firmware initiatives for IoT solutions with eInfochips as a Senior Engineer. Innovate in an onsite role based in Carlsbad, CA, or Richmond, BC.

This position requires a strong foundation in embedded firmware with 8+ years of relevant experience.

You'll work with technologies including Linux and RTOS, and support products from design through to manufacturing.

Your role will involve mentoring and collaboration across teams to enhance product functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own critical firmware components across the development lifecycle

• Develop device drivers and communication protocols

• Troubleshoot firmware, hardware, and integration challenges

• Participate in design and root-cause analysis reviews

• Optimize embedded software for efficiency and performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar

• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems

• Strong programming skills in C and C++

• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools

• Familiarity with wireless communication standards
