My Gym Children's Fitness Center, the premier children's facility in Richmond, has teaching positions available.

We look for enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children. A background working with youngsters and/or experience in dance, drama, movement, sports, music, child psychology, kinesiology or early childhood development is definitely a plus!

Job requirements:

• Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or related field)

• This position will start with part-time, has potential to be promoted as a full-timer with extended health insurance, holiday pay and paid personal days.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and assist high quality gym classes & parties & camps.
• Prepare teaching through previewing curriculum, reviewing class and practicing spotting skills.
• Attend Weekly Staff Meeting as required.
• Make sure all shift duties are done according to the shift checking list.
• On-shift client registration & administrative work.
• Assist manager with office organization, gym supply inventory check, marketing execution and customer service.
• Added responsibilities to be discussed and agreed upon

Mygym provide weekly curriculum with detailed instructions and trainings, teachers focus on delivering programs and modifying program ingredients based on students' performance as needed.

Compensation: $17.85 - $20.00 per hour
