As a First Student part‑time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and in the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before‑school pickup and again in the afternoon to bring students safely back home. No experience as a bus driver is required – we provide industry‑leading training and technology to help you succeed.
Yourday will include
- A split shift – an early morning before‑school pickup and an after‑school drop‑off with free hours in between.
- No night or weekend work unless you choose to.
- Additional hours available through trips and charters when possible.
- $21.79 per hour starting wage.
- No experience necessary – training provided.
- Child‑Ride‑Along Program – ideal for working parents.
- Charter route opportunities for extra hours.
- Up to $2,000 retention bonus for maintaining 95% attendance.
- Monday‑Friday schedule.
- Casual dress code.
- Company events and on‑site parking.
- Do not have a college degree or high school diploma.
- Have military experience.
- Are returning to the workforce or looking for a second job.

- Are at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
