Auxiliary Truck Driver Position

In this auxiliary truck driving position, you will operate a range of vehicles, ensuring efficient transportation of materials and equipment. Successful candidates will conduct safety inspections, load and unload vehicles, and partake in construction and maintenance tasks under supervision. This position demands flexibility with hours, allowing for a dynamic work schedule throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
• Load and unload vehicles according to task requirements
• Participate in routine construction and maintenance duties
• Complete required documentation and safety reports
• Deliver and pick up vehicles, maintaining safe work environments
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Up to one year of truck operating experience
• Ability to lift and push over 20 kg (45 lbs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness
