CTV Class AZ; Class 1 Driver

Fed Ex Canada is hiring a full‑time CTV Class AZ (Class 1) Driver in Richmond, British Columbia
. In this role you will safely transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities, handle pick‑up and delivery of large skidded and multi‑piece shipments, and operate power material handling equipment for loading, weight balancing, and unit loading device sequencing.

• Manage line‑haul operations and potential Pick‑Up & Delivery (PUD) routes.
• Handle dangerous goods, ULD inspection, and comply with FAA airworthiness standards.
• Complete provincial certifications, drug/alcohol testing for cross‑border routes, and maintain professional driving records.
• Work with hub and station management to ensure timely freight movement.
• Adapt rapidly to operational changes, applying strong geographical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and problem‑solving skills.

• High school diploma.
• 12 months heavy vehicle driving experience (preferred).
• Valid Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Air brake certification.
• Certifications in dangerous goods handling, ULD inspection, and ramp procedures.
• Ability to pass provincial transportation physicals and written tests.
• Knowledge of inter‑provincial regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Good communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
