Position: Part-Time Freight Sorter Purolator
Join Purolator as a part-time Freight Sorter in Richmond, where your sorting skills help ensure timely deliveries. This role supports our logistics operations significantly.

In this PM Sorter role, working from 2pm to 6pm, you will be responsible for accurately sorting and separating freight by various criteria. Your tasks will include unloading freight from trucks and loading it onto delivery vehicles, thereby directly influencing our delivery efficiency. Physical stamina is essential, as you will be lifting, sorting, and scanning freight regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload and load freight efficiently

• Sort packages based on size and destination

• Scan and check for improperly sorted items

• Transfer bulk items manually as needed

• Meet client delivery schedules consistently

Requirements:

• Forklift experience is an asset

• Successful completion of forklift training required

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

• English proficiency needed for communication

• Capability to stand and perform physical tasks
