Purolator Freight Sorter & Parker

Be part of Purolator's strong team as a Freight Sorter and Truck Parker in Richmond. This important role focuses on sorting packages and appropriately parking courier vehicles.

The PM Sorter's duties include sorting freight by weight and destination while the Truck Parker coordinates the movement and parking of courier vehicles. Ideal candidates will possess a valid Class 5 B.C. license, with operating experience in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility with working hours, mainly evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload freight from trucks efficiently onto conveyors

• Ensure proper load-out of sorted freight

• Preload outgoing packages into courier vehicles

• Transfer non-conveyable items manually

• Safely park and maneuver Purolator vehicles

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license

• Maximum of four points on driver’s abstract

• Successful completion of Defensive Driving course

• Proficiency in English communication

• Adaptability to outdoor and warehouse conditions
