- Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma - Experience:
No experience (will train) Tasks - Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or
A) Documentation knowledge - Accident or incident reports
- Bill of lading
- Driver logbook
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Maintenance and repair reports
- Trip reports Type of trucking and equipment
- Dump truck Transportation/travel experience
