As a Shipping Associate, you will report to the Shipping & Warehouse Manager. Key duties include managing onsite traffic, scaling inbound freight, and ensuring proper documentation for shipments. Your ability to handle Dangerous Goods is also crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and log all traffic on premises
• Scale and check inbound freight for accuracy
• Inspect outbound loads for US shipping
• Troubleshoot data entry discrepancies in systems
• Document and finalize loads for transportation
Requirements:
• High school diploma with computer coursework
• Knowledge in transportation laws and shipping practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods
