UPS seeks permanent part time Yard Shifters for Vancouver Hub Operations at its Richmond location. Selected candidates receive training for coupling, uncoupling, maneuvering, and positioning tractor trailers. The work supports tractor trailer and package handling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Move and shift containers and trailers within defined areas
Couple and uncouple tractor trailers safely
Drive and reverse dollies and trailers
Follow established safety and defensive driving procedures
Perform other directed work as required
Requirements:
Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver's Licence
Clean driver's abstract
Ability to lift and push up to 70 pounds
Comfort working outdoors and in changing temperatures
Availability for occasional extra weekend work
Bring trailer maneuvering, defensive driving, and physical capability to permanent part time yard operations with UPS in Richmond.
