Warehouse Associate Student

Container World is currently recruiting for Warehouse Associates for our Richmond, B.C. facility!!!

Container World located in Richmond, British Columbia is a premier logistics provider for the beverage industry; privately owned company with approximately 500 employees throughout its BC facilities.

We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution company. We have a Warehouse Management System to include voice picking, interleaved put‑away/replenishment, license plated inventory with RF scanning, and automation that includes an ERP, CRM, Truck Mate, Sage, Kronos, and other applications to prime us for present and future expansions. Container World actively supports Lean Six Sigma concepts. Container World Group of Companies are divisions under the Mullen Group, publicly traded on TSX.

• Work boot allowance after 1 year of employment. You will need your own CSA‑approved steel‑toed safety footwear to start.

Working mainly independently with guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor as required, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products.

• Inspect and verify incoming products
• Hand bombing and picking orders
• Other general warehouse duties as assigned

• Be at least 19 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to lift to 45 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills a must
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be open for night shifts as well
