We are on the lookout for a  Team Lead, Fulfillment in Richmond BC,  who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed.

In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly Rate: $25 per hour

Hours of work: 8:30am - 5pm Monday-Friday (Overtime & weekend support as needed)

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse

Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating

Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership

Move, pick, pack, and scan items in a safe manner

Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies

Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion

Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively

Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Train new employees on company standards and procedures

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates

Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback

Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations

Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency

Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods

Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners

Qualifications

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Having a valid forklift license would be an asset
