Become the Sushi Warehouse Team Leader at Bento’s Food Factory in Richmond, BC. This position requires leadership in managing daily operations for our sushi distribution.
You will provide oversight and support within the warehouse, drawing on a minimum of two years of experience in food or warehouse operations. This role includes coordinating activities, training staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety practices. Your focus on efficiency will help maintain the integrity of our sushi products and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily activities in receiving, picking, and shipping
• Assign and track warehouse team member tasks
• Verify shipping accuracy and ensure proper documentation
• Uphold food safety standards and procedures
• Participate in regular inventory assessments and resolve issues
Requirements:
• 2+ years in a warehouse or food distribution environment
• Forklift certification desired or ability to obtain
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and inventory control
• Effective leadership and coaching skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in cold settings
