Sorter Position at Purolator

Become a pivotal part of Purolator's logistics team in Richmond, BC as a Sorter. This role focuses on sorting freight by various criteria to ensure timely deliveries.

The PM Sorter works Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 6 PM, with 20 hours of work weekly. You'll sort and separate freight based on destination, weight, size, and shape, directly contributing to client satisfaction. A strong attention to detail and physical strength are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload freight from trucks onto conveyor systems

• Load freight into delivery vehicles efficiently

• Preload mail and packages for curbside delivery

• Manually handle non-conveyable items with care

• Scan received items to identify sorting issues

Requirements:

• Forklift license or experience preferred

• Completion of forklift training course required

• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds

• Strong sorting and organizational skills

• Proficient in English for effective communication
