Part-Time Freight Sorter

Embrace a key role at Purolator as a Part-Time Sorter in Richmond, British Columbia. Your responsibilities include sorting freight and packages efficiently from 2 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

In this Sorter PM role, you’ll sort materials by destination, aiding in our mission to deliver packages on time. Candidates will handle the physicality of the job, including lifting heavy items and ensuring accurate sortation through diligent scanning and reports. Adaptability and teamwork are critical in this warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload and transfer freight from trucks

• Sort packages to meet delivery timelines

• Handle bulk and non-conveyable items manually

• Scan all incoming and outgoing mail and packages

• Perform additional tasks as directed

Requirements:

• Prior experience or license for forklift operation preferred

• Capacity to lift 70 pounds regularly

• Proficient in English for communication purposes

• Physical stamina to manage lifting and sorting

• Strong commitment to safety protocols
