Canada Post is seeking 20 seasonal relief clerks to work from mid-November to mid-January, focusing on afternoon shifts.
Your role will include sorting mail, operating processing equipment, and transporting items within the facility. You’ll help ensure that customers and businesses receive their essential holiday packages on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort mail items into batches accurately
• Operate mail-processing machinery effectively
• Transport mail between sections using equipment
• Verify address and postage correctness on items
• Input data into computer systems as needed
Requirements:
• Availability for the holiday season from November to January
• Capability to stand for up to 3.5 hours
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry parcels
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Previous experience in warehouse environments is an asset
