Become a Package Preloader with UPS in Richmond, BC. This role focuses on loading, unloading, and sorting packages using UPS methods while working flexible shifts.
UPS seeks a dedicated individual for the Package Preloader position in Richmond. You will learn and execute methods for handling UPS packages effectively, ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. This role requires the ability to lift heavy packages regularly and may involve operating heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute package handling techniques according to UPS standards
• Load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars
• Scan and sort incoming and outgoing packages efficiently
• Maintain a tidy work area and follow safety protocols
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned in the warehouse
Requirements:
• Capability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. regularly
• Ability to read and remember postal codes
• Flexible availability for up to 5 short shifts weekly
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Willingness to work early morning shifts
