We are currently seeking a Sales Director for our Assisted Living and Independent Living community.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead all sales and occupancy efforts for a single Assisted Living and Independent Living community, ensuring a warm, supportive, and seamless experience for prospective residents and their families.

  • Drive census growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, monitoring trends, and identifying opportunities to increase occupancy.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including inquiry response, tours, follow-up, and move-in coordination.

  • Build strong relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral sources to promote the community’s services and lifestyle offerings.

  • Develop and maintain referral networks with hospitals, physicians, case managers, home health agencies, senior centers, and community organizations.

  • Present and educate referral sources and families on the community’s care levels, amenities, pricing, and specialized programs.

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing events, community outreach activities, and networking efforts to enhance visibility and brand awareness.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of inquiries, tours, follow-ups, and move-ins in CRM systems.

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and clinical teams to assess prospective residents’ needs and confirm appropriate placement.

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of state regulations, community guidelines, and eligibility criteria for residency.

  • Track key performance indicators such as occupancy rates, lead conversion, referral trends, and marketing ROI.

  • Provide actionable recommendations for improving sales processes based on data, feedback, and market conditions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior living sales (Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Memory Care) or related healthcare marketing/sales roles.

  • Strong understanding of senior living services, private-pay financial considerations, and residency eligibility criteria.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed occupancy and sales goals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Must demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a customer-service-focused approach.
