About the Opportunity

• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting such as Sales reports and customer P&L
• Identify areas of opportunity and/ or concern and provide recommendations
• Prepare weekly variance analysis including sales and GP reporting with a high degree of accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines
• Manage and review general accounting journal entries
• Ensure that general accounting journal entries are accurately recorded in accordance to company deadlines and accounting processes
• Communicate with field operations to accurately process Commissary & Non-Trad Business
• Support the annual budget and forecasting initiatives
• Other tasks that will be assigned on ad hoc basis

• Currently pursuing CPA or CMA designation
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role
• Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments with minimal instruction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Macro programming skills an asset

$75,000 - $80,000 /year
