Tax Specialist

Our client, a growing public accounting firm in Richmond Hill
, is looking for a U.S. Tax Associate to join their expanding U.S. Tax practice. If you are passionate about U.S. individual, corporate, and international tax
, then please read further. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of being in the office four days per week.

• Prepare U.S. federal and state tax filings for individuals, corporations, trusts, and estates
• Support U.S. tax compliance, including Forms 1040, 1040-, 1120, 1120-F, and required foreign disclosures
• Perform U.S. federal and international tax research and present conclusions to senior professionals
• Liaise with clients to gather information and address U.S. tax-related inquiries
• Work closely with engagement teams to ensure timely completion of filings and client deliverables

• U.S. CPA or actively pursuing designation
• 1–3 years of U.S. tax experience within a public accounting firm
• Experience with U.S. individual and corporate tax returns and U.S. international tax reporting (PFICs, Subpart F, GILTI)
• Experience with U.S. tax preparation software; GOSystems experience is an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
