Manager Tax - Planning and Compliance

About the Opportunity  Manage the entire tax function of the firm including:
Compliance, improving the overall tax filing process
Keep abreast with tax research
Review all tax returns ensuring quality control
Oversee all correspondence with CRA
Participate on tax research and tax planning engagements
About You   Completed an undergraduate degree and CPA or CPA, CA or
Currently a Tax Manager with 3-5+ years of experience within a Public Accounting tax environment, ideally the tax department of a major accounting firm with no preference on industry
Completion of CPA In-depth tax course or graduated from the MTax program
Excellent knowledge of Canadian tax laws and IFRS tax accounting and reporting
Experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax provisions and Canadian corporate tax returns

Experience with tax compliance, filings and Quality Control
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Team oriented, collaborative working style
Salary  $100,000/year
