Our client is on the lookout for a strategic Director of Accounting with 5–6+ years in accounting leadership. This position emphasizes strong technical expertise in GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and process automation. Collaborating closely with the executive team, you'll provide critical insights to inform project performance and long-term financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation

• Manage month-end close processes ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Lead year-end audit activities and financial auditing support

• Establish effective internal controls and reporting standards

• Drive automation and process improvements within accounting operations

Requirements:

• CPA designation is mandatory

• 5–6+ years of accounting and finance leadership

• Proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Experience in real estate development or construction

• Familiarity with accounting platforms like Newstar or Jonas
