Hands-On Accounting Director Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director with a proven track record in financial reporting and process enhancement. With at least 5–6 years of leadership experience, you will work directly with the CFO and CEO on project performance metrics and business insights. This position is perfect for a proactive leader who enjoys employing new technologies and automation in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accurate and timely preparation of financial statements

• Oversee compliance in month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare for year-end audits and coordinate with auditors

• Maintain internal controls and financial reporting standards

• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting

Requirements:

• CPA designation is essential

• 5–6+ years in finance leadership roles

• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards

• Relevant experience in construction or real estate

• Ability to use accounting software like Newstar or Jonas
