Position: Corporate Accountant Role at Venterra Realty
Join Venterra Realty as a Corporate Accountant for a 9-month contract in Richmond Hill. You will play a vital role in financial reporting and month-end processes while fostering team collaboration.

This hybrid opportunity is tailored for candidates with a keen eye for detail and a passion for finance. You'll be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational success. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you'll tackle diverse responsibilities that further enhance your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes

• Prepare detailed financial statements and schedules

• Manage corporate expenses and intercompany transactions

• Work closely with various accounting and finance teams

• Propose process improvements and automated solutions

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in accounting, audit, or FP&A

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus

• Enthusiastic about process improvements in accounting

• Capable of working independently while contributing to the team
