Assurance Senior | $80,000–$100,000 | Richmond Hill (Hybrid)

You’ll join an established CPA firm in Richmond Hill, working across audit, review and other assurance engagements while taking increasing responsibility for clients, files and junior team members.

• Lead sections of audit and review engagements
• Take smaller engagements from planning through completion
• Prepare working papers and financial statements
• Complete risk assessment and audit procedures
• Identify and investigate accounting issues
• Communicate directly with clients and obtain supporting information
• Support and review the work of junior accountants
• Assist Managers with larger and more complex files
• Prepare compilation engagements where required
• Gain exposure to corporate and personal tax work
• Develop stronger technical and client management skills

• 3+ years of Canadian CPA firm / public accounting experience
• Good audit and review engagement experience
• Strong understanding of ASPE
• ASNPO exposure would be an asset
• Comfortable managing sections of engagements independently
• Experience communicating directly with clients
• Ability to support and mentor junior staff
• CPA designated or actively working toward designation
• Case Ware and Tax Prep experience useful
