Become a key player in Open Text's Revenue Recognition team as a Senior Analyst focusing on global cloud revenue activities. Leverage your expertise in revenue recognition and accounting compliance to drive success.
In this senior role at Open Text, you'll collaborate across Billing Operations, Sales, Finance, and more, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in line with ASC 606 standards. Your responsibilities include calculating POC revenue, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Engage in monthly and quarterly close activities while helping to investigate revenue fluctuations to support ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and ensure compliance of customer contracts with ASC 606
• Calculate percentage-of-completion revenue for services
• Prepare journal entries and maintain deferred revenue schedules
• Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities
• Collaborate to resolve revenue fluctuations and enhance accuracy
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with ASC 606 and strong analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP
• Excellent attention to detail and team collaboration skills
