Skilled Construction Estimator

Position: Skilled Construction Estimator Needed
Work as a Construction Estimator earning $38.50 per hour, on a full-time basis at our physical location. This hands-on role requires precision in cost estimation and project evaluation.

In this position, your expertise will help prepare comprehensive estimates for labor and materials while collaborating with clients and contractors. You will read blueprints, perform quantity take-offs, and set up reporting systems for contract expenditures. This role requires proactive communication to ensure accuracy in costs and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft detailed labor and material cost estimates

• Analyze tenders and recommend contractor awards

• Operate CADD software for project layouts

• Perform site visits to collect relevant project data

• Prepare specifications and cost reports for projects

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Excel, AutoCAD, and database management

• Experience in commercial and residential construction settings

• Valid driver’s license for site work

• Must have excellent organizational skills

• Authorized to work in Canada
