Position: HDR Construction Inspector Role - GTA

HDR is hiring a Construction Inspector to be part of its dedicated Construction and Field Services team. This full-time position requires a proactive individual to inspect roadway and bridge construction projects, ensuring that all client expectations and safety guidelines are met. Effective reporting and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections in accordance with project requirements

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and daily diaries

• Utilize photo and video recordings for evidence of project progress

• Track item and material quantities for payment purposes

• Report non-conformances and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering preferred

• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction or engineering

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid Ontario driver’s license with reliable transportation

• Ability to handle flexible work hours, including weekends
