Civil Construction Inspector - Rail Projects

Become a key player as a Civil Construction Inspector for rail projects at HDR in Ontario. This casual, part-time role focuses on construction oversight and compliance monitoring.

As the Civil Construction Inspector, you will deliver vital inspection services on Class 1 railway construction.

Your role will involve maintaining detailed records, enforcing compliance with environmental standards, and supervising quality assurance procedures. Engage collaboratively with contractors and clients, while providing mentorship to fellow staff members. Flexibility with work hours is required as assignments may be seasonal and on-demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction and inspection on railway projects

• Document services through daily entries and visuals

• Perform site surveys for material quantity tracking

Requirements:

• 5 years construction or engineering experience preferred

• Equivalent of high school diploma needed

• Familiarity with MS Office tools essential
