ICAT Estimator at Symtech

Excel as an ICAT Estimator with Symtech by preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. Collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure timely bid submissions.

As an ICAT Estimator reporting to the Senior Director of Technology Services, you will leverage your experience in communications installations and technology construction. Your knowledge of the Accubid program will be essential in delivering comprehensive estimates and project details. Engage with multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards for safety and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review electrical drawings and specifications thoroughly

• Complete detailed take-offs based on project requirements

• Coordinate pricing requests with distributors

• Issue RFIs and RFQs to general contractors

• Assist in communications, IT, and large construction estimates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

• At least 5 years in communication installations

• IT background for effective cabling techniques

• High proficiency in the Accubid program

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
