About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and community-oriented  Administrative & Outreach Support Worker  to support the delivery and promotion of our Disability Employment Services Program in Richmond Hill.

This role combines administrative coordination with community outreach and partnership development. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day office support while actively engaging employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to increase awareness of employment services for individuals with disabilities.

The position is primarily office-based, with regular travel throughout Richmond Hill and surrounding communities for outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Disability Employment Services team.

Manage reception duties, including welcoming clients, responding to inquiries, and directing calls.

Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and funder requirements.

Schedule appointments, workshops, meetings, and follow-up activities.

Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and program materials.

Enter, update, and maintain data in client management and reporting systems.

Assist in tracking program outcomes and preparing reports.

Support workshop registration, attendance tracking, and participant communication.

Maintain office supplies and support efficient office operations.

Community Outreach & Partnership Development

Conduct outreach activities to promote Disability Employment Services throughout Richmond Hill and surrounding areas.

Build and maintain relationships with employers, community agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.

Represent Achēv at community events, networking opportunities, job fairs, and outreach initiatives.

Identify opportunities to increase program awareness and generate referrals.

Deliver presentations and distribute promotional materials to employers and community partners.

Support the implementation of outreach and marketing initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and partnership development efforts.

Serve as a positive ambassador for Achēv and its services.

Client Service

Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, employers, and community partners.

Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries received by phone, email, and in person.

Assist clients in accessing program information and available services.

Support intake processes and service navigation.

Foster an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Community Services, Social Services, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in administration, customer service, community outreach, employment services, or a related field.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is considered an asset.

Experience building partnerships and conducting community outreach is preferred.
