York Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of
** French Immersion Teacher (FI)**, Grade 7/8, at Christ the King CES. Effective immediately, the posting is open‑ended.

Required Qualifications / Experience

• FSL – Part 1 and/or other French qualifications recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate (OCT)
• High degree of oral and written proficiency in French
• Primary and/or Junior and/or Intermediate Division Qualifications

Desired Qualifications / Experience

• Experience teaching in the Primary, Junior, and/or Intermediate Division
• Training in the Accelerated Integrated Method (AIM/Gestures)
• FSL – Part 2 or Specialist qualification
• Knowledge of Balance Literacy and Numeracy practices in the Primary, Junior, and/or Intermediate Division
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to share a Junior or Intermediate classroom

Daily Rates for Teachers

• Unqualified – $280.41 (per full‑day worked)
• Qualified – $289.19–$619.73 (dependent upon placement on the salary grid, per full‑day worked)
