Onslow County Schools Program Coach

Join Onslow County Schools as a part-time Exceptional Children Program Coach for the  school year. Support exceptional education through professional development and effective instructional strategies.

This role demands collaboration with teachers and Exceptional Children staff to enhance educational practices in inclusive classrooms. You will conduct professional development and guide the implementation of instructional strategies that align with NC standards. This position is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model effective instructional practices in the classroom

• Lead the development of training sessions for staff

• Ensure adherence to federal compliance for paperwork

• Analyze student performance data to drive instruction

• Provide support for co-teaching and inclusive practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and active teaching license

• Minimum of three years of successful teaching

• Proven leadership experience in educational environments

• In-depth knowledge of IDEIA and IEP processes

• Ability to foster relationships within the educational community
