Student-Centered School Psychologist

Position: Student-Centered School Psychologist Role
Become a School Psychologist for Onslow County Schools during the  academic year. Facilitate student learning while developing essential psychological programs and interventions.

This position involves assessing student needs and crafting targeted support strategies, collaborating with educators, and consulting with families to promote positive outcomes. You will take an active role in IEP meetings and enhance the school's capacity to support diverse learning requirements. Commitment to professional development and ethical practice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess student developmental and mental health needs

• Create appropriate interventions and programs

• Consultation with educators and parents to foster growth

• Deliver a structured program of psychological services

• Participate actively in the IEP team as a collaborator

Requirements:

• Must be eligible for a North Carolina School Psychologist license

• Strong interpersonal skills with students and faculty

• Ability to manage a high-pressure environment

• Experience in mental health or educational settings

• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
