Math Tutor Elementary Students

Position: Math Tutor for Elementary Students Needed
Help elementary students succeed in math at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill. This part-time tutor role focuses on developing young minds with numbers during evenings and Saturdays.

Oxford Learning is looking for passionate individuals to tutor elementary school students and strengthen their math skills. You will implement engaging teaching strategies and help students overcome academic challenges. Reliability and communication are essential in this in-person role, as tutors will work with multiple children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics to groups of 2-3 students

• Apply Oxford Learning's instructional strategies

• Document student progress through post-lesson notes

• Maintain a friendly, professional teaching environment

• Communicate daily with students’ guardians about progress

Requirements:

• Teaching or tutoring experience in math preferred

• Strong understanding of the elementary math curriculum

• Excellent written and spoken English skills

• Open to university students, teaching certification is an asset

• Commitment through to the end of the school year required
