In the role of Civil CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:

  • Prepare general arrangement and detailed drawings, layouts & sketches, maps, and other graphical representations of engineering designs for roadways, grading, drainage, utilities with occasional guidance from others.
  • Preparation and revision of accurate Civil 3D/Open Roads models and extraction of 2D drawings as required.
  • Prepare quantity estimates and design calculations.
  • Perform self-check and company QA procedures on all deliverables.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related program is preferred
  • CET Designation is preferred
  • Proficiency using Civil 3D and Bentley Openroads
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under broad direction from a Project Engineer or Project Manager on various planning and design projects
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

  • Required Qualifications
  • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts

    The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Ontario: $52,275.00 - $81,334.00
