Reliability Engineer in MedTech & IVD

Join a leading team as a Reliability Engineer in the Med Tech and IVD field in Ottawa, Ontario. This senior role focuses on implementing design reliability strategies for cutting-edge medical devices.

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will harness over 10 years of experience in product reliability for developing medical technology. This role requires a strong background in designing test strategies, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating across departments to deliver reliable products. You will engage in lifecycle testing to assure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement reliability test strategies for devices

• Lead DFMEA, PFMEA, and reliability assessments

• Execute HALT, HASS, and lifecycle testing programs

• Analyze life data using Weibull and lognormal methods

• Manage FRACAS and prepare technical reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in hardware reliability engineering, Med Tech

• Strong experience with DFMEA, HALT, HASS methodologies

• Proficient in analysis tools like Minitab and JMP

• Knowledge of Python or R is a plus

• Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971 standards
