Opportunity
As a Construction Materials Field Technician Co‑op – Fall 2026, you'll gain hands‑on experience in materials testing and quality assurance for infrastructure and construction projects across Canada, working closely with a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete.
Collect samples, record data accurately, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Assist senior technicians and engineers in preparing reports and communicating results to clients.
Work in a dynamic environment, traveling to project sites and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related technical program.
Skills
Interest in fieldwork and hands‑on testing in outdoor environments.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new software tools.
Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.
Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $24.00 – $32.25
MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $21.50 – $30.25
Note:
The final salary awarded may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
