As a Lead Mechanical Estimator, you'll prepare precise mechanical system estimates and analyze blueprints crucial for project accuracy. Your independent analysis of rooftop equipment pricing will play a vital role in contract acquisition. You will leverage your expertise in plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal systems to ensure competitive project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for mechanical systems

• Analyze project specifications and designs meticulously

• Perform comprehensive take-offs for residential and commercial estimates

• Manage pricing of rooftop units on a day-to-day basis

• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of mechanical estimating experience required

• Extensive expertise in plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal

• Proven track record in high-rise construction estimating

• Familiarity with estimating tools like Autobid

• Knowledge of Ontario’s building codes and regulations
