What Makes This Role Great:
In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation MEMS-based inertial measurement units, directly influencing the accuracy of global machine control systems and shaping the future of autonomous positioning technology.
Key Exciting Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development and commercialization of new MEMS-based inertial measurement units from concept to real-world application.
Mastermind complex error modeling and simulation studies to enhance the performance of aided-Inertial Navigation Systems.
Drive innovation by exploring new capabilities for MEMS technologies in high-impact vehicle dynamic and vibration testing environments.
Design and optimize sophisticated positioning and pointing algorithms for both real-time and post-processing software suites.
Collaborate with elite product teams to define requirements and deliver high-precision solutions for global surveying and sensing.
Essential
Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in C/C++, Java, Matlab, and Python for complex algorithms and software development.
Deep technical knowledge of MEMS inertial sensors and their specific integration into Machine Control systems.
Demonstrated ability to work in highly agile environments using modern tools like Git and Atlassian.
Education & Credential Requirements:
Advanced Degree: Master’s (MASc/MSc) or PhD in Engineering, Applied Science, Physics, or a highly quantitative, related field.
Core Specializations of Interest: Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering/Science, Geomatics Engineering, Mechatronics, Earth & Space Science, Control Systems Theory, or Applied Physics.
