Senior Civil Designer

Position: Senior Civil Designer with 10+ Years Experience
HDR is hiring a Senior Civil Designer with over 10 years of experience in civil engineering. This role in Toronto, Ontario, focuses on innovative design solutions and mentoring within a collaborative environment.
As a Senior Civil Designer, you will manage complex civil models, prepare detailed engineering documentation, and ensure alignment with project goals. Your advanced understanding of Civil 3D and municipal design will guide the creation of high-quality project outputs while coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently execute civil modeling tasks

• Generate detailed civil design drawings and layouts

• Support construction documentation efforts using Civil 3D

• Mentor and guide junior civil designers

• Contribute to the business class digital needs
Requirements:

• 10+ years in civil design, particularly municipal infrastructure

• Advanced skills in Autodesk Civil 3D and various design software

• Understanding of engineering concepts and documentation standards

• Strong leadership and communication capabilities

• Technical degree or industry experience equivalent
