Join Trimble Applanix as a Senior Navigation Engineer (Inertial) and lead the way in navigation technologies. Design advanced MEMS-based inertial solutions for various high-impact applications.
In this Richmond Hill-based role, you will drive the development of new inertial measurement units. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering and has a strong focus on navigation technologies. Collaborating with product teams, you will ensure that innovative solutions meet global surveying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead MEMS-based inertial measurement unit development
• Conduct simulations to improve navigation system performance
• Innovate MEMS technologies for vehicle dynamic testing
• Design and optimize positioning algorithms for software
• Work with teams to deliver precise navigation solutions
Requirements:
• Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering field
• Proficient in C/C++, Java, Matlab, and Python
• Strong knowledge of MEMS sensor integration
• Experience in agile environments using Git and Atlassian
• Familiarity with sensor testing instrumentation is preferred
