Mechanical Estimator at Symtech

Work as a Mechanical Estimator with Symtech, specializing in cost estimates for mechanical construction projects. Engage with suppliers and clients to deliver accurate bids on time.

Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will focus on preparing cost estimates for a variety of mechanical ICI projects. Essential skills include analyzing design documents, leading bid processes, and utilizing Trimble Autobid for detailed take-offs. This role emphasizes maintaining compliance and building relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure compliance with tender documents

• Lead bid processes with minimal oversight

• Analyze project specifications and designs

• Create detailed material and labor take-offs

• Update and manage the estimating database

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience estimating mechanical projects

• Expertise in Trimble Autobid software

• Strong skills in communication and interpersonal relations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
